ntrusted with people's dreams, money, and homes, a builder doesn't survive for twenty-one years unless he consistently demonstrates his worthiness. There is a quiet modesty in his voice when Buddy is asked why he should be selected as a builder. "Well I've been here a while and I know the terrain. Even though it's one of the prettiest places in the world, it's a very tough place to build." Buddy goes on to explain how builders not experienced with the challenges of local environment, terrain and weather often quickly run into difficulties.

"We're well established and know the people to work with and those to avoid. And we're insured and licensed and have all the things you are supposed to have to keep homeowners from getting into trouble. If a builder doesn't have these assurances and something happens, homeowners often find themselves in a real mess."
